Great Park Board OKs Sharon Landers as interim CEO

The Great Park Corp. Board unanimously Thursday approved Assistant City Manager Sharon Landers as the interim Great Park CEO

The Great Park Corp. Board unanimously Thursday approved Assistant City Manager Sharon Landers as the interim Great Park CEO. Landers will move over to the Great Park offices at the El Toro base Monday to replace outgoing CEO Marty Bryant.

Bryant announced his retirement May 9, citing health reasons. After 20 years of working for the city, Bryant became the park’s second lead officer in late January. Joyce said he chose Landers to act as CEO because she has been working as assistant city manager for a year and is familiar with the Great Park and with managing large projects.
